Chetan provides technical assistance in preparing and prosecuting patent applications for clients in technologies including mechanical, electro-mechanical, control systems, computer software, medical devices, and semiconductor manufacturing processes related to Lithography. His strong technical background and experience in automotive and software industries allows him to understand complex issues within these industries. Chetan assists in a wide variety of cases for clients and helps to protect their core technologies. He also assists clients and attorneys with identifying points of novelty, patentability analyses; due diligence, and IPR-related work.

Prior to joining the firm, Chetan worked as a patent agent (under Limited Recognition) at an international law firm in its McLean, Virginia office where he assisted in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in multi-disciplinary technologies. Previously, Chetan worked as a technical advisor at an intellectual property law firm located in Alexandria, Virginia where he assisted attorneys in preparing and prosecuting patents in various technologies.

While attending The Ohio State University, Chetan worked a graduate research assistant on research projects related to design-stage reliability analysis for safety critical systems and academic projects related to automotive and design. Chetan is an author of several publications and co-inventor of one issued U.S. Patent.
