Overview

Collier Johnson focuses his practice on trademark law. He advises clients with trademark prosecution and enforcement, trademark clearance, and trademark portfolio management.

Prior to joining the firm, Collier was an Attorney-Advisor at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) where he examined thousands of trademark applications, interpreted and reviewed trademark rules and regulations, and conducted clearance searches of the federal trademark database. Collier also has extensive experience submitting ex-parte appeal briefs before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

Previously, Collier was an associate at a national law firm in its Washington, D.C. headquarters where he counseled clients on government contract claims and disputes and litigated bid protests before the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

While attending the University of North Carolina School of Law, Collier was a staff member of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology.
