Edwin Garrison practices in the areas of real estate, real estate finance and capital markets, focusing primarily on representing loan servicers and investors in connection with loan portfolios, CMBS securities, securitized commercial loans, and securitization trusts. Edwin advises loan servicers and investors on matters related to terminations of real estate mortgage investment conduits, grantor trusts, CDOs, and CLOs, including the disposition and post-termination servicing and financing of assets. In addition, he counsels investors regarding b-piece acquisitions, loan portfolio acquisitions, servicing agreement negotiations, and repurchase facilities. Edwin also advises loan servicers on servicer appointments, loan modifications and extensions, senior and mezzanine financing, interest rate cap agreements, workout negotiations, receiverships, foreclosures, property management, leasing, and real estate owned property disposition.
Edwin was recognized in 2018 and 2019 as a Georgia "Rising Star" for Creditor Debtor Rights by Super Lawyers magazine.
