Hampton Billips assists a wide variety of clients with public policy issues and appropriation matters before the North Carolina General Assembly. Hampton has helped secure millions of dollars in appropriations for multiple clients and played an integral role in passing legislation that was key to clients expanding their business in North Carolina.
Previously, Hampton worked for Senate Majority Leader Harry Brown in the North Carolina General Assembly. Prior to his time at the General Assembly, Hampton worked at Randolph Cloud and Associates, an advocacy, government relations, and not-for-profit management consulting firm located in Raleigh, North Carolina. There, he kept up-to-date on current legislation and communicated with state senators, representatives, staffers, and lobbyists. In college, Hampton played for North Carolina State University as a defensive lineman during its 2014, 2015, and 2016 football seasons and he was honored as a North Carolina State University Caterpillar Scholar Athlete in 2014.
Hampton is not licensed to practice law. Hampton is a member of the KTS Strategies LLC team.
