NEW YORK (May 15) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Steven Huttler has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner on its well-recognized Investment Management & Broker-Dealer Team (IM/BD). He was previously a partner at Sadis & Goldberg in the Investment Funds & Corporate Law Groups.
“Steven’s extensive knowledge brings a level of expertise to the Investment Management & Broker-Dealer Team that will enhance our service to national and international clients,” said Jeffrey Skinner, Kilpatrick Townsend Investment Management & Broker-Dealer Team Chair. “He will play a key role in expanding the firm’s reach into the New York IM/BD market and beyond. Steven’s shared ‘team-first’ philosophy and experience with private fund management give him a deep understanding of our approach to service, making him a highly valuable asset to our team. We are excited to have Steven join the firm.”
Mr. Huttler’s practice area is primarily focused on private investment funds, with an emphasis on international funds and related cross-border structures, specialty finance, family offices, and hybrid and unique investment assets, structures, and sectors. I look forward to working with the firm’s exceptional attorneys and clients, not only in New York, but across the firm.”

A particular area of focus has been litigation finance assets, such as those that are pre-settlement, post-settlement, personal injury, mass-tort, commercial, appellate, financial industry and intellectual property litigation.
In recent years, Mr. Huttler has served as corporate counsel to many private investment funds and partnerships, including those based in the U.S. and in offshore jurisdictions, such as the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, Ireland, Luxembourg, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Cyprus, Mauritius, United Kingdom, Austria, India, and Gibraltar.
