ATLANTA (January 12) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP announced today the launch of KTS Strategies, a wholly-owned subsidiary focused on assisting clients with advocacy and business strategy across all levels of government – in both state and federal arenas. As of January 1, 2022, professionals from Kilpatrick Townsend’s well-known Government Relations Team will serve clients as a part of KTS Strategies.
KTS Strategies leverages the collective experience of more than 650 Kilpatrick Townsend attorneys and legal professionals in the firm’s 17 United States offices as well as international offices in Asia and Europe to provide comprehensive policy and advocacy advice to national and international companies, governments, individuals, nonprofits, and coalitions on issues with high-stakes consequences.
“When representing clients before Congress and federal, state, and local agencies, we serve diverse industries on a wide array of subject matters,” said Ches McDowell, Senior Managing Director, KTS Strategies. “We develop winning advocacy strategies, connect clients with government decision makers at the highest levels, draft and analyze legislation, counsel clients regarding compliance with laws and regulations, and prepare and accompany witnesses for testimony before government committees and in agency hearings and investigations. The team looks forward to continuing to represent our outstanding clients from our new platform.”
KTS team members have been legislative advisors in both state and federal arenas, giving the firm unique insight into the legislative process and a broad range of industry issues and topics, including finance, aviation, technology, transportation, energy, environment, health care, outdoor sports, pharmaceuticals, national, state, and local political campaigns, and real estate development, among others. With the resources of a global firm and the tailored approach of a boutique practice, KTS Strategies goes above and beyond to help clients create opportunities and lasting solutions.
“The KTS Strategies team brings decades of experience representing local municipalities, corporate transportation entities, nonprofit organizations, statewide associations, government vendors, and Fortune 500 companies,” added Roger Wylie, Kilpatrick Townsend Managing Partner. “We have won countless victories, defeated many adverse bills and proposals, restored reputations, and frequently secured ‘a seat at the table’ for our clients.”
