Firm Adds Adam Duke to Real Estate Finance & Capital Markets Team
WINSTON-SALEM (December 8) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Adam Duke to the Winston-Salem office as Counsel on the Real Estate Finance & Capital Markets Team in the firm’s Corporate Department. He joins from the law firm of Bell, Davis, & Pitt.
Mr. Duke has over a decade of experience in matters involving banking and financial services, creditor’s rights, real estate, and construction law. He has represented financial institutions in all aspects of commercial loan transactions and commercial real estate financing. Mr. Duke’s practice also includes creditor and debtor representation with regard to enforcement of security interests, collection action, and enforcement of judgments, receivership proceedings, and asset protection. He counsels clients on the negotiation, documentation, due diligence review and closing of real property transactions, and the negotiation and documentation of commercial leases for landlords and tenants, and representation of curative actions and homeowners associations. Mr. Duke, in the area of construction law, provides clients with expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, lien and bond claims, and construction design defect claims and defense.

An active leader in the community, Mr. Duke is a volunteer for the Disaster Legal Services and 4ALL programs of the North Carolina Bar Association. He is a past board member of the Forsyth County Humane Society and Winston-Salem Community Leadership Council of the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina.
Mr. Duke is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a B.A., with honors and distinction, in history and economics. He received his M.P.P. from Duke University and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
