LOS ANGELES (June 10) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that seven of the firm’s attorneys were recently recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers as either a Super Lawyer or a Rising Star.

Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. Caroline "Carrie" Barbee focuses her practice on all areas of intellectual property litigation and enforcement, including copyright and trademark infringement litigation, as well as registering, policing and enforcing trademarks and copyrights. In addition to litigating copyright and trademark infringement cases, Ms. Barbee has experience litigating general commercial disputes involving breach of contract, interference with contractual relations and prospective business advantage, defamation, false advertising and other forms of unfair competition. Mary Craig Calkins leads Kilpatrick Townsend’s West Coast Insurance Practice, representing policyholders in high stakes litigation. Her extensive coverage experience includes directors and officers liability, professional errors and omissions, entertainment and intellectual property claims, cyber liabilities, e-commerce and technology claims, labor and employment claims, construction defects, first party property and business interruption losses, and broker liability issues. Brittany Elias Kandela focuses her practice on trademark portfolio and conflict management.
