Insights: News Kilpatrick Townsend Names Barry Benjamin Managing Partner of New York Office

NEW YORK (April 3, 2019) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that it has named Barry Benjamin Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office. He succeeds Frederick Whitmer, who served as the New York office Managing Partner since 2012. Mr. Whitmer will continue his practice with Kilpatrick Townsend as a partner focusing on intellectual property and business litigation.

Mr. Benjamin chairs Kilpatrick Townsend’s Advertising and Marketing group which is a part of the internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department. His practice focuses on advertising, privacy, and technology transactions in areas where traditional and digital media converge, and where evolving distribution platforms and data gathering tools push the boundaries of intellectual property rights, privacy, technology, and content. Mr. Benjamin is a graduate of the University of Michigan and earned his law degree at Fordham University School of Law.
