Insights: News Kilpatrick Townsend Grows its Government Enforcement and Investigations Team in Atlanta

ATLANTA (April 29) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Jessica Nwokocha to the firm’s Atlanta office as an Associate on the Government Enforcement & Investigations Team in the firm’s Litigation Department. She will focus her practice on representing both corporations and individuals in white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and government enforcement matters. 

Ms. Nwokocha brings experience in handling commercial litigation and drug and device litigation matters in both state and federal courts. She has worked with major financial institutions, distribution and electric utility companies, pharmaceutical companies, and health insurance providers in a number of complex cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nwokocha was an associate in the litigation practice group in the Atlanta office of a national law firm where she obtained a number of favorable outcomes for her clients. She also served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Clarence Cooper in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Ms. Nwokocha earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University, as a Chancellor’s Law Scholar. During law school, she was an Associate Justice for the Vanderbilt Moot Court Board, an Authorities Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, the Academic Excellence Chair for the Black Law Students Association, President of the Honor Council, and a 2013 Cecil D. Branstetter Litigation and Dispute Resolution Summer Fellow. Ms. Nwokocha was also awarded the American Law Institute CLE Scholarship & Leadership Award in 2014, and she was selected as a member of the Tennessee Bar Association Diversity Leadership Institute’s Class of 2014.

She received a B.A., summa cum laude, in Journalism with a broadcast news concentration from Howard University.
