Insights: News Kilpatrick Townsend Adds Isabel Triana to Washington, D.C. Office

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 18) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Isabel Triana to the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She joins as an associate on the Trademark and Copyright Team in the firm’s internationally acclaimed Intellectual Property Department.

Ms. Triana brings significant experience managing domestic and international trademark portfolios for clients in private practice and as corporate counsel. Her background includes experience with prosecution and enforcement of trademarks, domain names, cybersquatting, and copyright infringement in technology and consumer goods sectors.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Triana worked in-house at Ellucian in Malvern, Pennsylvania where she managed international trademark and patent portfolios, transactional matters, including the negotiation and drafting of software license agreements.  She also practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of an international law firm where she worked on both trademark transactional and portfolio matters  as well as corporate matters and representation of sovereigns with a regional concentration on Latin America.

Ms. Triana earned her J.D. from Rosario University School of Law in Bogota, Colombia. She received her LL.M. from Alicante University in Alicante, Spain, and Boston University.
