Insights: News Brittany Elias Joins Kilpatrick Townsend in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (May 3) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Brittany Elias to the firm’s growing Los Angeles office as an associate in the Trademark & Copyright Team in the firm’s internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department.

Ms. Elias advises on issues relating to complex international trademark clearance and prosecution, foreign and domestic disputes, brand protection and litigation matters. She also counsels clients on a wide range of domestic enforcement issues, including both offensive and defensive disputes, and proceedings before the TTAB. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Elias was an intellectual property litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of a California-based law firm where she also acted as lead associate for trademark prosecution and portfolio management.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Elias was founder and president of Museum of the Souls (Museo de las Almas) in Los Angeles, California where she successfully cultivated relationships with sponsors, patrons, publicists, media representatives, and artists to provide a platform for the exhibition and auction of work by up-and-coming Hispanic and Latino artists.

Ms. Elias earned her J.D., Double Concentration in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, from Loyola Law School. She received her B.A. in Art History, Minor in Women’s Studies, from the University of California, Irvine.
