Insights: News Releases Three Intellectual Property Attorneys Join Kilpatrick Townsend in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (November 2) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of three Intellectual Property Associates to the firm’s San Francisco office.
- Jenny Goak joins the Trademark & Copyright Team. She earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, cum laude, where she was the President of the Korean American Law Student Association and the Food Law Society. While in law school, Ms. Goak worked for Amazon in the trademarks department and was a summer law clerk at Kim & Chang, Seoul, South Korea in the trademarks department. Ms. Goak received her B.A. in Music (Voice) from Boston University. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Richard F. McDermott of the King County Superior Court.
- Alexandra “Lexi” Martinez joins the Trademark & Copyright Team. She earned her J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of Law where she served as Senior Staff Editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly Journal. While attending law school, Ms. Martinez was awarded the prestigious Ladas Memorial Award for her article, “The Act of Registering a Trademark: Commercial Speech, Non-Commercial Speech, or a Combination of Both?.” Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Martinez served as a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Maria-Elena James of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Psychology from San Diego State University.
- Taylor Pfingst joins the Patent Litigation Team. She earned her J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of Law where she served as Executive Notes Editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly Journal. While in law school, Ms. Pfingst served as a Law Clerk for the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General in the Consumer Section, Public Rights Division. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pfingst served as a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Charles R. Breyer of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
