ATLANTA (June 30) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that attorney Antoinette Ellison is a 2016 recipient of the National Bar Association’s (NBA) Nation’s Best Advocates: 40 Under 40 award. The honorees will be celebrated at the NBA’s 40 Under 40 Awards Black Tie Gala on Monday, July 18, during the NBA’s 91st Annual Convention in St. Louis, Missouri.
The awards recognize the nation’s top lawyers under 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, including in innovation, vision, leadership and legal and community involvement. An independent panel combed through a large group of nominees to select the 40 individuals to receive the prestigious awards. The final selections represent a cross-section of legal professionals, including big firm, solo and industry practitioners, government lawyers, judges, academicians, corporate counsels, young elected officials, and various other lawyers, all of whom are using their degree in innovative and community impacting ways.
Antoinette Ellison focuses her practice on the resolution of federal and state tax-controversies on behalf of individual and corporate taxpayers and litigation. Her experience includes trial preparation and trials in proceedings before the U.S. Tax Court, and U.S. district courts. Ms. Ellison has served as lead counsel in complex business litigation and insurance coverage matters.
