ATLANTA (January 23) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that partner and co-chair of its Health and Life Sciences practice, Jamie Graham, has been named one of the recipients of the prestigious 2015 Georgia Bio (GaBio) Community Award. The GaBio Community Award recognizes individuals, companies, or institutions for their significant contributions to Georgia’s life sciences industry.
GaBio represents about 200 companies, universities, research institutes, medical centers, government groups and other business organizations, and serves as an advocate for the state’s life sciences industry. In addition to advocacy, GaBio supports education programs to improve K-12 student achievement in science, fosters partnerships with Georgia’s life sciences community, and produces the annual Georgia Life Sciences Summit. Ms. Graham focuses her practice on intellectual property issues involving biological and chemical technologies. Ms. Graham conducts domestic and foreign biological and chemical patent prosecution, particularly in the areas of biotechnology, diagnostics, isolation and purification methodology, immunology and pharmaceuticals. Ms. Graham currently serves on the Board of Directors of GaBio and is Chair and Co-Founder of the Women In Bio Atlanta Chapter.
