Overview

Simone Worthy focuses her practice on business and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities.

Prior to joining the firm, Simone was a summer associate and then a banking and credit associate in the New York City headquarters of an international law firm in its Corporate practice where she represented public and private corporations, banks, lending institutions, and private equity sponsors in structuring, negotiating, drafting, and documenting secured and unsecured term loan and revolving/asset-based loan credit facilities. Simone also represented fund sponsors in fundraising transactions.

Simone graduated law school with a joint degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D.) and the University of Hong Kong (LL.M.). She was a member of the University of Pennsylvania’s Journal of Law and Social Change. While attending Wofford College, Simone served as a Modern Language Lab Assistant where she provided administrative assistance to a group of nine foreign language professors. She also was studied abroad in South Africa and China.

Simone is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
