Skyler Shields focuses his practice in the areas of investment management, private equity, business and finance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.
While attending Wake Forest University School of Law, Skyler worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2020. He served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Loretta C. Biggs in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina and as a legal intern with the office of the Federal Public Defender in Charleston, South Carolina. Skyler was Notes and Comments Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review and a Real Estate Drafting, Legal Writing and Research, and Professional Development teaching assistant.
