Overview

Andrew Saul focuses his practice on patent infringement litigation. He has represented clients in cases involving a variety of technologies, including semiconductors, supercomputers, wireless communications, data encryption, image processing, and mechanical systems. Andrew has represented clients through all stages of litigation, including through trial.

Mr. Saul worked as a summer associate for the firm in 2015. During law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the Georgia Law Review, worked as a legal intern at the UGA Technology Commercialization Office, and was Vice President of the UGA Intellectual Property Law Society. He also served as the student representative to the American Intellectual Property Law Association and was nominated by his professors as a Pupil in the Atlanta Intellectual Property Inn of Court.

Prior to joining the legal profession, Mr. Saul was a consultant in the telecommunications industry performing software development and data analysis for several U.S. and international clients.

Experience

Represented Ring Container Technologies, LLC in offensive patent infringement action against a competitor in the Eastern District of Texas regarding packaging technology. After engaging in early fact discovery, the dispute favorably resolved in a private mediation before Judge David Folsom (ret.). Ring Container Technologies, LLC v. Altium Packaging LP, No. 2:21-cv-464 (E.D. Tex.).
