Eric Register focuses on disputes among private individuals and businesses involving copyrights and trademark rights. His experience resolving intellectual property disputes includes handling trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, trade dress disputes, structuring co-existence agreements, and litigating copyright ownership disputes and infringement claims. Eric’s clients have included authors, designers, photographers, Grammy Award-winning musicians, non-profit organizations, and other content-producing individuals and entities.
Prior to joining the firm, Eric was a Founding Partner of a legal boutique firm in Atlanta where he led the Disputes Resolution and Litigation Practice. Although his practice has focused on intellectual property and entertainment for many years, he has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of areas including personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, commercial disputes, and employment discrimination. Eric is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Georgia, North Carolina, and Louisiana, having practiced with prestigious firms in each state before settling in Georgia.
While attending the University of North Carolina School of Law, Eric was an active member of the mock trial team. While attending Morehouse College, Eric served a summer research assistantship at the A. Alfred Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown University.
Eric has basic knowledge of Spanish.
