Mr. Kotwal has also been involved in various stages of patent litigation. Multiple patents prosecuted by Mr. Kotwal have been asserted, resulting in favorable judgments for his clients. Prior to joining the legal profession, Mr. Kotwal worked as a software engineer/architect in Silicon Valley for five years. Mr. Kotwal still considers himself a techie-at-heart.
