Beyond litigation, Minnie’s trademark experience is extensive and she is adept at advising clients on and developing strategies for portfolio management, domain name acquisitions, common law rights, licenses and assignments, use and rights in foreign countries, and trademark enforcement. She also handles the numerous other issues that arise for trademark owners, including infringing domain names and infringing uses on third-party online marketplaces. Minnie’s copyright litigation experience includes architecture, textile and clothing designs, jewelry designs, print and online advertisements, social media, and font software.

Prior to joining the firm, Minnie was an intellectual property associate in the Charlotte, North Carolina office of an international law firm where her practice included trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation matters and domain name acquisitions and disputes.

While attending law school, Minnie was Managing Editor of the Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property, and was a recipient of Owen L. Coon/James A. Rahl Senior Research Honors for her paper on the impact of intellectual property “trolls.”

Minnie was recognized in 2023 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Intellectual Property Law, Intellectual Property Litigation, and Patent Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®. In 2021, she was recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” for her professional accomplishments, leadership roles, and community service.

Minnie is fluent in Korean and has basic knowledge of French.
