Joseph Hynes focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Joseph was a senior associate in the St. Petersburg, Florida office of a well-established litigation law firm where his practice included business litigation and corporate transactional work. Previously, Joseph worked for a Florida-based foreclosure defense law firm.

Joseph also worked as a general counsel for a restaurant/real estate management company and a Chicago-based advertising agency where he managed internal legal operations, including the negotiation and writing of contracts, as well as commercial leases, resolution of contract disputes, business licensing negotiations, and maintenance of corporate legal compliance with such licenses, human resource issues, personnel, and real estate management.

While attending law school, Joseph was one of the founders of the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law and he also served as senior editorial staff member.
