Each of Washington Business Journal's 40 Under 40 honoree is a "standout in their sector, climbing the ranks while still finding time to impact their communities." This year, the Washington Business Journal received more than 450 nominations to determine this year's class.

Mr. Galbraith focuses his practice on litigation and Native American Affairs. He is a citizen of the Navajo Nation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Galbraith served as the White House Associate Director of Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement for President Barack Obama. At the White House, Galbraith analyzed and formulated political and policy recommendations for President Obama, Executive Branch Agencies, and Senior White House Officials on matters affecting tribal governments and Native American. He also served in the White House as a Deputy Associate Counsel for Presidential Personnel conducting backgrounds and vetting of political nominees.

Prior to his work at the White House, Galbraith served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Arizona prosecuting a variety of crimes against the United States, and as a Legislative Assistant to former Senator Tim Johnson of South Dakota.
