Insights: News Releases Four Kilpatrick Townsend Attorneys Named 2016 “Rising Stars” by Texas Super Lawyers
DALLAS (April 12) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that four attorneys from the firm’s Dallas office were selected as “Rising Stars” by 2016 Texas Super Lawyers. Partners Wes Butler and Jennifer Graf were named in the Business Litigation category, attorney Justin England was named in the General Litigation category, and attorney Christin Jones was named in the Civil Litigation: Defense category.
The Super Lawyers distinction honors attorneys who attain a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement as some of the region’s pre-eminent lawyers. Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations, all of which result in a comprehensive and diverse listing of the top five percent of attorneys in each state.
Wes Butler focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, employment litigation and counseling and ERISA litigation. In addition, Mr. Butler has an active general litigation docket, including tort claims. He represents parties in state and federal court litigation and in arbitrations. Mr. Butler represents parties in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission and other agencies. He has handled cases in the state and federal courts of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, and Texas. Mr. Butler has been recognized as a “Rising Star” annually since 2010.
Jennifer Graf focuses her practice on complex commercial matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Graf was a partner at Crouch & Ramey, a litigation law firm based in Dallas, Texas, where her areas of practice and trial work included complex commercial matters, aviation, products liability, and general negligence. Previously, she practiced law in Dallas trial firms where she defended large corporations and insurance companies, as well as gaining both state and federal pretrial preparation experience. Ms. Graf has been recognized as a “Rising Star” annually since 2012.
Justin England focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He has broad litigation experience in both state and federal courts. Mr. England is a trial lawyer who routinely appears on both sides of the docket in a diverse array of civil litigation matters including, but not limited to, cases involving commercial and complex business litigation, real estate disputes, products liability, premises liability, personal injury, and employment litigation. He has been recognized as a “Rising Star” annually since 2014.
Christin Jones focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and appellate litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jones was an associate at Crouch & Ramey, a litigation law firm based in Dallas, Texas, where her practice included civil, real estate, and commercial litigation. Previously, she worked as a prosecutor in the appellate division of the Bexar County District Attorney’s office after interning for the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio, Texas. Ms. Jones has been recognized as a “Rising Star” annually since 2015.
