Insights: News Releases Rose Liu Joins Software and Electrical Engineering Team in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (September 2) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Rose Liu to the firm’s San Francisco office. Dr. Liu joins the firm as an associate in the Software and Electrical Engineering Team in the firm’s internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department.
Dr. Liu focuses her practice on patent preparation, prosecution, and related counseling. She represents clients in a wide range of technology areas, including optoelectronics, semiconductor processing and devices, photovoltaic devices, optics, internet commerce, wireless communication systems, nanotechnologies and various related technologies.
Prior to entering law school, Dr. Liu worked as a Patent Agent at Kilpatrick Townsend for two years. Additionally, before entering private practice, Dr. Liu served as an Optical Engineer for Optical Associates and Agilent Technologies. Dr. Liu earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of California Hastings College of Law. She received her Ph.D. in Physics from Iowa State University and her B.S. in Physics from Fudan University in Shanghai.
