WINSTON-SALEM (May 12) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Amber Koger to the firm’s Winston-Salem office. Ms. Koger joins the firm as an associate on the Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Team in the firm’s Corporate, Finance & Real Estate Department.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Koger was an associate at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate governance. Ms. Koger has experience assisting clients with a variety of matters including commercial agreements, business combinations and corporate governance. She has represented clients over a broad range of industries including the sports, entertainment and fashion industries. Ms. Koger has also advised boards of directors and management of organizations on governance, legal compliance and legal implications of business strategies and decisions.
Ms. Koger was recognized as an “Up & Coming Attorney” in 2013 by Minnesota Lawyer, a North Star Lawyer in 2013 by the Minnesota Bar Association, a Lawyers of Color’s “Hot List” Honoree in 2013 for the Midwest Region and a featured member of the Young Lawyers’ Group of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice.
Ms. Koger earned her J.D. from William & Mary School of Law. She received her B.S. in Business Economics from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, summa cum laude.
