ATLANTA (January 27) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Partner Jon Neiditz will be a featured panelist at the Lawyers Club of Atlanta Annual Ethics and Professionalism CLE. The program will take place on Friday, January 30 at the Promenade Building in Atlanta, Georgia.
This year’s topic is "CyberSecurity, Privacy and Ethics – The New World of Lawyer Confidentiality." CyberSecurity and the ethics surrounding it is increasingly a concern for law practices large and small. Hacking scandals can hit anyone and any company. Protection of client data and complying with the ethics rules are important for every lawyer in a world where online filing and email communication with clients is now the norm. This CLE is a great opportunity to hear tips and techniques to make your professional life easier and more fulfilling. Mr. Neiditz will join Seletha Butler, Assistant Professor of Business Law and Ethics at Georgia Tech, to define and respond to the confidentiality problem, and then join a large panel moderated by B.J. Bernstein on attorney competency.
Mr. Neiditz leads the Big Data, Privacy and Information Security practice at Kilpatrick Townsend, a firm that has become one of the leading information law firms in the world. Previously, he has led information management practices at other major law and consulting firms, and served as an in-house general counsel and a special advisor to reform initiatives. Mr. Neiditz is passionate about customer service and innovation.
