The amended accredited investor definition will become effective December 8, 2020.
We previously posted a blog regarding the SEC's recent expansion of the accredited investor definition. The Final Rule Release stated that the amended definition would become effective 60 days after publication in the federal register. The amendment was published on October 9, 2020 and therefore will become effective December 8, 2020.
If you have any questions about the accredited investor definition or private offerings, please feel free to contact us.
