Experience
Successfully advocated for funding for multiple clients in the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CARES Act), the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP), and other COVID-19 relief bills. After passage of the bills, our team worked to ensure that our clients received numerous awards from the new programs created by this legislation resulting in multi-million dollar allocations.
Successfully drafted and facilitated the passage of an amendment to significantly curtail legislation limiting nuisance lawsuits.
Secured a one-time $115 million state appropriation for a commercial service airport, and successfully secured funding of $75 million in each successive year.
Advocated for numerous programs and provisions on behalf of clients that were included and passed in the 2018 Agriculture and Nutrition Act (2018 Farm bill).
Passed bipartisan legislation to increase banking fees for secured lending products for a state chartered bank, which resulted in increased profits of close to $45 million year over year for national lending products.
Successfully advocated for passage of a bill that allowed general welfare benefits provided by a Tribal government to its citizens to be exempt from federal taxation.
Provided comprehensive public affairs solutions for private equity-backed franchisees to reopen their businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns. Our team organized a coalition, developed and managed media efforts, passed legislation, and ultimately forced an executive order to be issued to accommodate our clients.
Collaborated with a Governor’s office to issue an exclusive executive order allowing for a corporate governance change on behalf of a top 10 national bank.
Raised millions of dollars for political candidates, state ballot initiatives, organized planning committees, polling, political structures, and authorized expenditures for lobbying, media campaigns, and political mailers.
