Overview

Briggs Wright focuses his practice on trademark litigation, counseling, and prosecution. He has represented clients across a wide spectrum of industries in every aspect of legal and administrative proceedings before federal courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Briggs prioritizes efficient, targeted strategies to secure his clients’ practical and legal goals.

Prior to joining the firm, Briggs was an associate at the New York City office of an international law firm where he supported clients in enforcement and defense of trademark and trade dress infringement claims, anti-counterfeiting efforts, dispute resolution, U.S. and international trademark clearance and prosecution, and brand management.

While attending law school, Briggs served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Randolph Beales in the Virginia Court of Appeals and was a Senior Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law.
