Bernie Thurman focuses his practice in the area of real estate finance and capital markets. He has significant experience representing financial institutions and loan servicers with respect to commercial mortgage defeasances, loan assumptions and modifications, among other matters.
Bernie worked previously with the firm as a real estate finance attorney from 2015 to 2017. Prior to rejoining the firm, Bernie worked as a senior associate in the San Francisco, California office of a firm that provides a wide range of tax, valuation, financial advisory, and related consulting services to individual and commercial clients where Bernie provided tax planning and consultation for high-net-worth clients.
Bernie currently attends the University of San Francisco School of Law where he is seeking his Master of Law (LLM) degree in Taxation.
