Overview

Aditya Shrivastava focuses his practice on representing both corporations and individuals in white collar criminal defense cases, international and domestic internal investigations, and government enforcement matters. His legal experience includes a civil and criminal federal tax litigation practice, which included federal court trials, as well as income tax litigation, audit procedures and IRS appeals negotiations.

After completing his undergraduate studies and before entering law school, Aditya led a company that developed a cloud-based software product designed to facilitate secure collaboration between law firms and their clients, while virtually allowing lawyers to prepare for hearings, depositions, settlements, and other legal matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Aditya was a litigation associate in the Atlanta, Georgia office of an international law firm where he assisted in all stages of litigation, including discovery preparation, legal research, and trials in state, district, federal, and appeals courts.

Aditya maintains an active pro bono practice. Through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Aditya represents domestic violence victims seeking protective orders against their abusers. Aditya also works closely with the Atlanta Humane Society and was honored as an “Atlanta Humane Hero” by the organization in 2017.

Aditya is fluent in Hindi and basic knowledge of Mandarin.

Experience

Performed an internal investigation into allegations of commercial bribery and conflicts of interest arising from a client’s supply chain in Asia.

*Advised a publicly-traded real estate investment trust that invests in shopping centers in its spinoff of a $3 billion portfolio of 50 assets, comprised of 38 continental U.S. assets and its entire Puerto Rico portfolio, into a separate publicly-traded REIT.

*Assisted with trial and second chaired an Eleventh Circuit appeal on multi-million dollar land development case with a favorable result for the client.

*Independently researched, drafted, and won a motion to quash subpoena stopping further litigation against a client.

*Assisted with audits and appeals for cases involving franchising, disputes, supply chain agreements, nerve center tests, payroll compliance, and foreign intellectual property taxation.

*Assisted several unaccompanied minors secure necessary findings of fact to permit these children to seek Special Immigration Juvenile Status, which then permits them to obtain lawful permanent residency.
