Arush Gadkar is a registered patent agent who assists technology companies of all sizes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications and building strategic patent portfolios. He manages and prosecutes domestic and foreign patent applications for clients in many technology fields including computer software, medical devices and processes, and computer hardware. Utilizing his strong technical background, Arush understands the complex issues his clients encounter within their industries. He handles a wide variety of matters for his clients and assists them in protecting their core technologies. Arush also works with clients to manage their patent portfolios including applications in technology areas such as medical device applications, software interfaces, and quantum computing.
Prior to joining the firm, Arush was a patent agent in the northern Virginia office of an international law firm where he prosecuted domestic and foreign patent applications including inventions in the software, communications, medical devices, and mechanical art units for large corporations and start-up companies.
Arush serves as an adjunct faculty member at The George Washington University where he is a lecturer for graduate-level courses in its Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He was a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth where he worked in collaboration with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory on a U.S. Department of Energy funded project. Arush was also a graduate research and teaching assistant at The George Washington University where he led U.S. government research projects funded by the National Science Foundation’s Division of Computer and Network Systems.
Arush also serves as a Technical Program Committee member and reviewer for IEEE journals: Journal of Lightwave Technology, Transactions on Networking, Journal on Communication Networks, and Journal in Optical Switching and Networking.
