John Easterling is a lobbyist who represents a wide variety of clients, assists them with an array of state government relations issues, and advocates on their behalf before the North Carolina General Assembly and the North Carolina Executive Branch. He closely follows legislative developments relevant to clients and researches and analyzes matters regarding public policy. John has also provided commentary on Capitol Tonight and a plethora of other media outlets in the state concerning developments in state government.
John has a strong background in public affairs, political campaigns, and political leadership. Prior to joining the firm, he played an active role in the leadership of campaigns at every level – presidential, statewide, congressional and local. With a decade of political experience, John served two terms as President of the College Democrats of North Carolina and continues his involvement today as a member of the Democratic Governors Association Finance Committee. He also served as Commissioner on the Scotland County Crime and Drug Committee and to this day maintains his involvement with numerous organizations in the Scotland County community.
While possessing a deep political standing, John has also been an ordained Reverend in his church for over two years.
John is not licensed to practice law. John is a member of the KTS Strategies LLC team.
