Chris Damitio focuses his practice on patent litigation matters.
While attending law school, Chris worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2020. He served as a judicial extern to the Honorable John C. Coughenour in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington where he drafted orders in cases involving sovereign immunity, attorney-client privilege in corporate settings, and international contract interpretation. During law school, Chris volunteered at the El Centro Homelessness Prevention Clinic where he conducted intake interviews and researched solutions for homeless clients facing legal issues. He also served as Staff Editor of the Journal of Environmental Law & Policy and won the 2021 Battle of the Experts National Mock Trial Competition.
While attending the University of Washington, Chris was captain and travel logistics director of the school’s Mock Trial Team. He also worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in Edmonds, Washington where he researched changes in Washington State law regarding DUI test admissibility and expert phlebotomist testimony.
