Rob Daily focuses his practice on executive and equity compensation, qualified retirement plans, and benefit and compensation issues arising in mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and other business transactions. Rob also advises plan sponsors, plan fiduciaries, and investment management clients with respect to ERISA fiduciary and prohibited transaction rules for investing plan investments.
Prior to joining the firm, Rob worked in the Washington, DC office of a boutique tax law firm.
While attending law school, Rob was Co-Executive Articles Editor of the Georgia Law Review. He also served as an intern in the Office of Tax Policy at the Department of the Treasury in Washington, DC and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Amy Totenberg in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Rob also won multiple writing awards for his tax scholarship and his articles have appeared in the Georgia Law Review, ACTEC Journal, and Federal Lawyer.
Prior to attending law school, Rob was a Senior Tax Accountant at a Big Four accounting firm where he advised high-net worth individuals, private equity, and corporate clients on federal, state, and international tax compliance obligations.
