Brent Caldwell focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, finance, and capital markets.

Prior to joining the firm, Brent was an associate in the Charlotte, North Carolina office of an international law firm where he represented national banks and other lenders in real estate loan originations. Previously, he was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James L. Gale at the Greensboro, North Carolina location of the North Carolina Business Court.

While attending law school, Brent was a research assistant to a leading expert in securities regulation and served as Symposium Editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law.

Before law school, Brent worked for several years in professional politics as a fundraiser and campaign manager.
