Insights: News Lawyers of Color Names Kilpatrick Townsend an "Aspire Diversity Award" Recipient
ATLANTA (February 23) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that the firm was named one of Lawyers of Color’s “Aspire Diversity Award” recipients. The designation recognizes law firms that meet diversity criteria regarding the percentage of Black lawyers, the number of attorneys of color in firm leadership positions, and the number staff members whose titles include the designation of “equity,” “diversity,” or “inclusion.”
This recognition will be noted in the upcoming Lawyers of Color Diversity Issue 2023.
Lawyers of Color is a 501(c)(3) devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. We celebrate attorneys of color and conduct research and studies regarding the intersection of the legal profession and social justice. LOC has been recognized by the American Bar Association, National Black Law Students Association, and National Association of Black Journalists.
