Insights: News Kilpatrick Townsend's Farah Cook Named 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow
ATLANTA (February 13) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Farah Cook, partner in the firm’s Atlanta office, has been selected to be a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2023 Class of Fellows. Launched in 2011, this landmark program trains and cultivates the next generation of leaders in the legal profession while allowing them to build relationships with each other. Ms. Cook is the 12th Fellow from the firm.
Alongside the 2023 Class of Fellows, Ms. Cook will participate in peer-group meetings that foster collaboration and build relationships and will learn from managing partners and general counsel through virtual and in-person sessions and leadership lunches.
The goal of the program is to produce a generation of attorneys with strong leadership and relationship skills who are committed to fostering diversity within their individual institutions and the profession at large. Each class of Fellows also serves as mentors to those who follow.

Ms. Cook concentrates her practice on intellectual property and technology-focused commercial agreements, marketing technology arrangements, advertising technology, licensing of intellectual property, strategic alliances, content distribution, and SaaS products.
Ms. Cook is a graduate of Spelman College and received her Master’s degree in French Cultural Studies from Columbia University. She earned her law degree at the Howard University School of Law. Ms. Cook was listed in the 2023 and 2022 Editions of The Best Lawyers in America® for IT Outsourcing Law and was named a “Atlanta Lawyer of the Year” in 2023 for IT Outsourcing Law by The Best Lawyers in America®. She was also recognized in the 2022 Legal 500 US for Outsourcing.
