WASHINGTON, DC (June 1) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Laura R. Biddle as Counsel in the Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Biddle joins the Financial Institutions Team in the firm’s Corporate, Finance, and Real Estate Department.
Ms. Biddle has significant experience advising domestic and foreign banking organizations on strategies to navigate complex legal and regulatory issues, including those involving the Bank Holding Company, the Home Owners’ Loan, the Dodd Frank Act, the Bank Secrecy Act and consumer financial protection laws. Her expertise includes matters such as corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, control, fintech, third-party relationships and affiliate transactions.
Ms. Biddle earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. She received her B.B.A. in Marketing from The College of William and Mary.
