Insights: News Releases Justin Krieger and Darin Gibby Recognized in Law Week Colorado’s Barrister’s Best

DENVER, CO (October 29)Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Justin Krieger and Darin Gibby were recognized as 2021 Barrister’s Best attorneys by Law Week Colorado. The Barrister’s Best list is selected by attorneys, Law Week Colorado readers, and the publication’s editorial staff, and highlights outstanding attorneys from a variety of practice areas including intellectual property. 

Mr. Krieger was selected as the “People’s Choice” Best IP Litigator. Mr. Gibby was named the “People’s Choice” Best IP Lawyer (non-litigator). 

Mr. Krieger serves as the managing partner in the firm’s Denver office. He is a first chair inter partes review (IPR) and post-grant review (PGR) litigator with a tremendously successful track record for challenging third party patents as well as defending against patent challenges brought before the Patent Trial & Appeal Board (PTAB). He also serves as an adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he teaches a course on PTAB studies.

Mr. Gibby helped launch the firm’s Denver office in 1995 and since that time has spearheaded its growth and emergence as one of the largest patent law firms in Denver. Mr. Gibby is recognized by Chambers USA as a one of Colorado’s top intellectual property lawyers and “a top choice for a range of matters including post-grant reviews, licensing matters and patent prosecution.” According to the 2017 edition of Chambers USA, Mr. Gibby is praised for his “in-depth legal analysis” and “creative approaches to problems.”
