Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Adds Matthew Chung in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 18)Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Matthew Chung in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He joins as an Associate in the Electrical Engineering and Software Team in the firm’s internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department.

Mr. Chung focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling in a variety of technologies including cloud computing, data security, machine learning and artificial intelligence, storage systems, image and video processing systems, IoT, virtual machines, and wireless networks. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate in the Seattle office of an AmLaw 100 firm. Before private practice, Mr. Chung was in-house counsel at IBM.

Mr. Chung earned his J.D. from the New York Law School, where he served as the Patent Law Program Chair. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Oregon State University and B.A. in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University.
