Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Wins Airfinance Journal Award
ATLANTA (May 20) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that the firm was honored by Airfinance Journal with the Airline Unsecured Bond Deal of the Year award for its work in 2018 with Delta Airlines. The award was presented at the publication’s annual awards dinner on May 2 in New York.
The AFJ Global Awards celebrate the best-in-class airline, lessor and OEM financings to have closed over the past calendar year, while recognizing the organizations and teams that played central roles in these deals.
“This recognition reflects the collaborative relationships we have with our clients and the hard work our talented team contributed to see this deal through,” said Kilpatrick Townsend partner Ben Barkley. “We are sincerely grateful for this honor.”
An AFJ editorial team reviewed the award nominations, then narrowed the list down to three finalists in each category. Winners were then selected by an independent panel of nine judges based on criteria including innovation and complexity.
