Insights: News Kilpatrick Townsend Grows its Trademark and Copyright Team in New York

NEW YORK (May 20) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Brittany Hazelwood and Mannu Harnal to the firm’s New York office as Associates on the Trademark & Copyright Team in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department.

Brittany Hazelwood has experience representing public and private companies and pro bono organizations in transactional matters with respect to intellectual property, technology, and privacy. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hazelwood was an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in New York where she counseled clients on intellectual property and technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

Ms. Hazelwood earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School where she served as the Notes Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and the Arts. She received a B.A. in German Literature and Philosophy from Columbia University. 

Mannu Harnal has experience managing global brand portfolios for Fortune 100 organizations in technology, media & entertainment, sports, finance, and fashion fields and U.S. copyright portfolios for organizations and artists in the software and entertainment fields. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in New York where he handled trademark prosecution and counseling matters.

Mr. Harnal earned his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center). He received a B.S. in Marketing and in International Business from the University of Central Florida.
