SAN FRANCISCO (January 31) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that it has named Greg Gilchrist Managing Partner of the firm’s San Francisco office. He succeeds Mehrnaz Boroumand Smith, who has been the office’s Managing Partner.

“My first job is to extend profound thanks to Mehrnaz for everything she has done and continues to do for this office,” said Greg Gilchrist. “Her commitment to the firm and our well-being in San Francisco will motivate me in my new role. I look forward to serving as the San Francisco Office Managing Partner. I am excited about the challenges ahead and grateful to the firm for giving me this opportunity.”

Mr. Gilchrist represents a wide range of clients in litigation, trials, and appeals before courts and arbitrators. His practice currently emphasizes intellectual property and antitrust litigation, and he spends a lot of his time counseling clients about national and global brand protection efforts for famous consumer brands.

Mr. Gilchrist was recognized as the San Francisco Trademark Law “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers’ 2019 Lawyers of the Year. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and earned his law degree at University of Michigan School of Law.
