Insights: News Releaes Kilpatrick Townsend Grows Trademark & Copyright Team in California
SAN FRANCISCO & LOS ANGELES, CA (September 6) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Noah Drake, Trevor Maxim, and Paul Sousa to the firm’s internationally-recognized Trademark & Copyright Team in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
- Noah Drake is an associate based in the firm’s San Francisco office. He focuses his practice on domestic and international trademark matters including trademark prosecution and contested proceedings. He has represented clients in the media and entertainment industries. Mr. Drake is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley and earned his J.D. at Berkeley Law.
- Trevor Maxim is an associate based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He focuses his practice on trademark and copyright litigation, including in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), primarily in the media, entertainment, and technology industries. Mr. Maxim is a graduate of the University of Miami and earned his J.D. at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
- Paul Sousa is an associate based in the firm’s San Francisco office. His practice covers all aspects of trademark law, including domestic and international trademark clearance, portfolio management, prosecution, counseling, licensing, domain names, and enforcement. He has also handled trademark disputes before the TTAB and in federal court. Mr. Sousa is a graduate of Northeastern University and earned his J.D. at Boston College Law School.
Their addition follows the expansion of the firm’s Trademark & Copyright Team after Gabrielle Nagler Simon and Isabel Triana joined the firm’s New York and Washington, D.C. respectively.
