Mansi Shah Joins Firm’s Silicon Valley Office 

MENLO PARK (July 10) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Mansi Shah to the firm’s Silicon Valley office as a partner on the firm’s internationally recognized Patent Litigation Team.

Ms. Shah has more than a decade of experience managing complex patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation. She has represented Fortune 500 corporations, both plaintiff and defendant, involving technologies such as internet software, wireless communications, videoconferencing, databases, audio and video processing and a variety of other computer hardware devices.

Ms. Shah advises clients regarding IP protection, including developing long-term patent and trademark strategies. She counsel clients on strategic use of post grant proceedings, including inter-partes review. Ms. Shah also analyzes IP license agreements and negotiates terms for growth phase companies with vendors.

Ms. Shah is a community leader. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and currently serves as Chair of the National Advisory Council of the South Asian Bar Association of North America  where she also previously held the positions of President and Treasurer. Ms. Shah is a member of American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and member of the APABA-Silicon Valley and Affiliate Member of National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). She serves on the Board of the Ecumenical Hunger Program in East Palo Alto, and serves on the Board for the International Senior Lawyers Project.

Ms. Shah was named a “Silicon Valley Women of Influence” by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2018 and was a recipient of the Cornerstone Award from the South Asian Bar Association of North America in 2017. She was a 2016 National Asian Pacific American Bar Association “Best Under 40” honoree and was selected to the “Lawyers of Color Power List” in 2015. Ms. Shah has been consistently recognized as a Super Lawyer since 2013.

Ms. Shah, who is conversational in Hindi, Gujarati, and Spanish, received her J.D. from George Washington School of Law and a B.S. in Computer Science from University of California, San Diego.  Ms. Shah is a sought-after speaker and writer on a broad range of issues impacting the clients and the legal industry.
