Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend’s Taylor Ludlam Recognized Among Triangle Business Journal’s Women In Business
RALEIGH (March 27) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that the Triangle Business Journal recognized Partner Taylor Ludlam as one of their honorees for the 2018 Women In Business Award. Ms. Ludlam was one of only 26 women to receive the recognition.
The Triangle Business Journal’s Women In Business Awards recognize Triangle women who have proven to be dynamic and outstanding leaders with established track records of significant accomplishments in business and community services. This year, readers nominated over 150 women for the prestigious award. A judging panel including a mixture of Triangle business executives and Triangle Business Journal editorial leadership narrowed the field to 26 winners. This year’s class represents a vast array of knowledge and influence that spans across the entire Triangle and beyond.
Ms. Ludlam was recognized for not only her successful legal career, but also for her commitment to the community. She is a member of the firm’s Raleigh office Volunteer Council and an active member of the firm’s Women’s Initiative. Outside of the firm, Ms. Ludlam is heavily involved with associate recruiting for the firm at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
Ms. Ludlam has made a tremendous impact in the Triangle community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, and has been a proud supporter of the Habitat for Humanity of Orange County since she participated in her first Habitat build in 1994. In addition, Ms. Ludlam is very active with the SECU Family House, serving as a volunteer and a member of the Planning Committee, helping to plan and organize Family House’s spring fundraising event. She is also a regular volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House.
Ms. Ludlam is an experienced litigator practicing in the firm’s nationally recognized Patent Litigation Team. She has assisted in the successful litigation of patents involving cable and telephony communications, wireless communications, and software-related systems in District Courts and before the International Trade Commission. Ms. Ludlam has also represented various companies in complex contract disputes, trademark infringement, and class action lawsuits.
