Firm Adds Partner Lenard Parkins
HOUSTON (March 13) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Lenard Parkins to the firm. He will resident in the firm’s Houston and New York offices. Mr. Parkins joins the firm as a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Department on the Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Team.

Mr. Parkins, who was previously a partner at an Am Law 50 firm, focuses his practice on the counseling and representation of large and medium sized corporations, bondholders, indenture trustees, secured lenders, private equity, hedge funds, oil and gas interest holders, and creditor committees in financial restructurings, litigation, workouts and formal reorganization cases throughout the United States.
Mr. Parkins has experience in a number of industries, including energy, power and natural resources, oil and gas, private equity, real estate and real estate finance, hospitality and aviation.
Mr. Parkins earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he served as Managing Editor of the Houston Law Review. He received his B.A. from Washington and Lee University. Mr. Parkins was an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Houston Law Center.
