Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Named 2019 Law Firm of The Year for IP Litigation by U.S. News-Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms”
ATLANTA (November 6) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton was named the Law Firm of the Year for Litigation – Intellectual Property in the 2019 edition of U.S. News-Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms”, the annual publication that reviews and ranks thousands of lawyers and law firms from across the United States. Only one “law firm of the year” is selected in each of the 74 practice areas examined by the publication.
“It is extremely gratifying to be recognized for the outstanding work our IP litigators do every day to help our clients achieve their business goals,” said Wab Kadaba, Chair of Kilpatrick Townsend’s internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department. “We want our clients to feel like they are working with the most talented team around. We go to great lengths to identify the right team from our deep and talented bench of IP attorneys for each matter. Being selected as Law Firm of the Year, among numerous other top tier accolades the past few months, is a further indication that they made the right choice.”
Kilpatrick Townsend was also recently honored by BTI Litigation Outlook 2019 as one of the nation’s Top Firms for IP Litigation. BTI is a research consultancy for corporate and professional services clients. Their rankings rely on interviews with General Counsel, C-level executives, and other purchasers of professional services. According to BTI, IP litigation will be the fastest growing litigation segment in 2019.
The new rankings comes on the heels of another prestigious recognition the firm’s Intellectual Property Department received last month. In October, Kilpatrick Townsend was ranked among the top three in the world for Trademark Law by Who’s Who Legal.
